Cranio Sacral Therapy
Cranio Sacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of a physiological body system called the craniosacral system - comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord.
Using a soft touch generally no greater than 5 grams, or about the weight of a nickel, practitioners release restrictions in the craniosacral system to improve the functioning of the central nervous system. 1.0 hr hr. $85
Hot Rain Therapy
Raindrop Therapy uses a sequence of nine highly anti-microbial essential oils. They are dropped like rain from a height of about 6 inches onto the spine and then lightly massaged in using various hand to body techniques. This stimulates energy impulses and disperses the oils along the nervous system throughout the entire body.

Ear Candling is not a new alternative therapy. Dating back to the year 2500 B.C. there is evidence showing that people used and were familiar with the practice of ear candling. Ancient cultures, including the Egyptians, made reference to its use. Parchment scrolls discovered in the Orient, also have described the procedure for ear candling.

Acupressure
Acupressure balances the body's energy by applying pressure to specific points along energy channels. The term "pressure" is misleading, since acupressure actually uses a very light touch. A practitioner uses her fingertips to make contact with the body. It's the location of the contact that's important, not the amount of pressure.
Acupressure and acupuncture use the same theory and assessment tools to select the points used in a session. An acupressure practitioner has some advantages. Because her hands are in contact with the points, she can detect changes in the energy during the session. She can then modify the selection of points to accommodate the body's response. Also, some points are not easy to needle, since they are located too close to bone or nerves, whereas all points are available to the acupressurist's touch.

European Facial
Adeep pore cleansing facial that begins with a skin analysis. An initial cleansing is followed by steaming, exfoliation and extractions( optional) . A relaxing face and neck massage are followed by a masque. This treatment is customized to the needs of your skin type and extractions are optional. Recommended every 4 to 6 weeks and prior to any series of therapeutic skin treatments to keep your skin healthy. (90 minutes: $135)
Hydrating Facial

Eye Treatment

Cold Laser
A safe and effective treatment for all skin types. For treatment of broken capillaries, rosacea, psoriasis, acne, sun damage and alopecia. Cold Laser is also used for hair removal and a very effective treatment for signs of aging. Therapeutic Massage

Thai Herbal Stem Massage
The Thai Herbal Stem Massage uses herbs such as ginger, cumin and plai (from the ginger family), wrapped in unbleached cotton, steam heated, and then used in a kneading and rolling movement as part of a traditional Thai massage. Stem Massage differs because they combine soothing heat with therapeutic natural herbs and essential oils. These healing oils and resins are absorbed into the blood stream through the epidermis and react with the body chemistry in a sympathetic and gentle way. The treatment combines traditional Thai Massage movements with deep pressure to release blocked energy, increasing awareness and vitality.

Bowen Therapy
Every Body is Better with Bowen!
Bowtech is unique in the field of bodywork. Its relatively few, gentle "moves" over muscle and other soft tissue address the whole body, stimulating it to reset and heal itself. The healing may occur at all levels as needed: physical, chemical, emotional, mental, energetic, etc.
A Bowtech session consists of several series of gentle moves through light-weight clothing (or on skin). In a Bowtech office or clinic, the client usually lies on a bed or bodywork table or, for comfort, in a chair. However, Bowtech can be done anywhere -- on the sports field, in a hospital room, at the site of an accident, on an airplane or train.A session may last from fifteen minutes to an hour. Most often, a surprisingly few sessions are needed to alleviate complaints, whether structural or functional, even if long-standing. And the results hold for a long time, generally until there is a re-injury.
Bowtech is completely safe and appropriate for everyone from newborns to the very elderly and frail. Highly trained athletes and pregnant women benefit equally, each according to need. Although there are three circumstances in which a specific series of moves, is contraindicated, there are no contraindications for a Bowtech session, as other parts of the body and the body as a whole will still benefit. Bowen sessions are long lasting and profound.

Whilst the art of reflexology dates back to Ancient Egypt, India and China, it wasn’t until 1913 that Dr William Fitzgerald introduced this therapy to the West as ‘zone therapy’. He noted that reflex areas on the feet and hands were linked to other areas and organs of the body within the same zone.
In the 1930’s Eunice Ingham further developed this zone theory into what is now known as reflexology. She observed that congestion or tension in any part of the foot is mirrored in the corresponding part of the body.
Reflexology is a complementary therapy, which works on the feet to help heal the whole person not just the prevailing symptoms.

Steam Therapy
This is a wonderful stand alone treatment and an excellent precursor to Massage, Facials, Bowen and Reflexology and One of the oldest healing remedies in the world, the steam bath has been used for centuries to promote health and vitality. Hippocrates, the father of medicine, encouraged the practice saying “Give me the power to create a fever, and I shall cure any disease.”WHAT IS A STEAM BATH?Not unlike a sauna in that it induces sweating, but with entirely different atmospheric conditions, the steam bath not only relaxes you and renews your energy, but also promotes your health and beauty as well. It is operating most effectively at temperatures of between 43C(110F) and 46C(116F) and a relative humidity above 100%. In a steam bath, steam (or to be more scientifically correct, MIST) should be permanently present.WHAT CAN STEAM HEAT DO?
- Steam heat increases the extensibility of tissues.Steam heat decreases rigidity in joints.Steam heat reduces muscle spasm.Steam heat can decrease muscular pain.Steam heat increases blood circulation and irrigation.Steam heat enhances total lymph system cleansing.Steam effectively washes toxins from the surface of the skin as you sweat.Steam treatment improves vascular flow, while enhancing oxygen, nutrients, and lymph exchange at the cellular level and is highly effective in removing fat-stored toxins from the body.Steam boosts the immune system

Please be advised we do not recommend Steam Therapy to Pregnant Women, anyone suffering from High Blood Pressure, Heart/ Cardiovascular or Kidney Malfunctions. We do not recommend Steam Therapy to those who have an acute infection or inflammation. Also Steam Therapy may be contraindicated with some prescriptive medications. Children under 12 are not permitted in the Steam Room.

Our Back Yard
Please feel free to come ahead of your appointment and unwind in our back yard on our large wrap around deck. Enjoy the natural beauty and sounds of nature overlooking our energy gardens and the lush greenbelt. Our numerous bird feeders and bird houses are home to many local area birds and it is common to see 3 to 4 deer grazing in the wild grass in the green belt.
Yoga
We offer Yoga for one to 3 people on site. This Yoga session can be customized to your level of ability and range from 30 minutes to 90 minutes.
For larger groups we can arrange a yoga session at local Yoga Studio.
Lunch
We do offer lunches on site in our indoor garden room or weather permitting you may choose to have your lunch on our large wrap around deck. The lunches are from our local area dining rooms. Please see our Other Links menu key for web sites to visit these facilities and view their menus.
Outdoors
Guided Hiking, biking, Cross Country Skiing, Snowshoeing & Horseback Riding. We can arrange these outdoor guided sessions for you or your group. These sessions can range from ½ day trips to full day trips, with or without lunch. Advance bookings of at least 2 weeks or more are suggested.
